💡 Today's 5 Core Techniques
Servant Leadership
The Scrum Master/PM serves the team by removing obstacles, not directing them. The leader's job is to enable the team's success, not to command.
Sprint Planning & Backlog Refinement
The team pulls work from the prioritized Product Backlog into a Sprint. The Product Owner owns the backlog priority; the team owns the how and how much.
Daily Standup (Scrum)
A 15-minute daily sync where each team member answers: What did I do? What will I do? What is blocking me? The Scrum Master resolves blockers.
Retrospective
Held at the end of every sprint to inspect the process and adapt. The team identifies what went well, what didn't, and commits to improvements. This is the engine of continuous improvement.
Definition of Done (DoD)
A shared understanding of what 'complete' means for a user story. If it doesn't meet the DoD, it cannot be counted as done or shown to the client.
Practice Scenarios
The development team is blocked by a slow approval process from another department. What does the Scrum Master do?
